AB 3026 has now been amended to provide local government peace officers with free choice of MDs and exemption from ACOEM treatment guidelines after 90 days. AB 3026 is on the Senate floor. There are only two weeks left in the legislative session so this bill will move very fast unless it gets stopped. CCWC is indicating potential cost increases are in the neighborhood of 17% - 18% of total peace officer losses.
