Apparently AB 3026 is being gutted and amended this week to provide a carve out for peace officers exempting them from MPNs, UR and many other porvisions of the recent reform dealing with medical care. In all probablility firefighters will get themselves amended into the bill. The bill will probably be passed by the Democratic majority and is likely to be vetoed. The veto will then be used against the Governor in the campaign to show how he "mistreats" public safety employees.
